Monday – Friday

(The last admission is at 18:00)

Saturday / Sunday / holiday
10:00 to 20:00 hour

Box office
The box office at halle 622 opens 30 minutes before opening hours.

Time slots
ickets can always be booked for admission on the full and half hour. The visiting time is unlimited. Tickets purchased in advance guarantee admission at the booked time. As visitor capacity is limited, we recommend using the online ticketshop, especially for visits at weekends, on public holidays and during vacation periods.

 

Gastronomy

Summer garden: ZUM FRISCHEN MAX

Directly next to Halle 622 and behind Oerlikon station is our summer garden Zum Frischen Max. We will be happy to spoil you here before and after the exhibition with grills, fresh salads and changing daily specials. Cool drinks, a surprising selection of non-alcoholic beverages and a large variety of beers complete the offer.

Table reservations are necessary and possible only from 8 persons.

There are no catering facilities on site at the Body Worlds exhibition.

By public transport

You can enjoy a relaxed journey by travelling with ZVV public transport. The S-Bahn from Zurich main station runs regularly to the Zurich Oerlikon train station. Then 5 minutes on foot in the direction of Bahnhof Oerlikon Nord. It is also possible to take tram no. 11 to Oerlikon station. The bus no. 64 or 80 to the stop Bahnhof Oerlikon Nord, goes directly in front of the Halle 622.

By car

Please leave plenty of time for your journey. You can park in the following car parks:

Covid-19

The exhibition follows the guidelines of the Swiss Confederation and the protective measures of the Association of Swiss Museums. Persons with fever/flu symptoms are not permitted to enter the exhibition.

– Masks must be worn in the exhibition.
– 3376 m2 exhibition area. 25 m2 per person.
– modern ventilation (capacity up to 3500 persons)
– Div. disinfection dispenser (entrance/exit)
– Regular cleaning/disinfection by cleaning institute
– Sick persons are not allowed to enter.

The protection concept has been submitted to the State Chancellery of the Canton of Zurich.

FAQ

DO WE NEED AN AUDIOGUIDE?

Individualize your visit to the exhibition according to your personal interest with our audio guide. The audio guide can be obtained on site for a price of CHF 4.00.

With the audio guide, you can access amazing facts, figures and further explanations on all exhibits. You will also learn practical tips on how to keep your body healthy and functioning for as long as possible. The tour is designed for medical laymen and lasts about two hours in total.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I PLAN FOR MY VISIT?

Visitors tend to spend approximately 90 minutes in the exhibition. You should calculate at least this much time for your visit. If you book your visit in the last slot of the day, you will have a maximum of 90 minutes. Therefore, show up right at the start of your admission slot. 

IS IT OBLIGATORY TO WEAR A MASK IN THE EXHIBITION?

Yes. Masks must be worn in the exhibition (from 12 years).

IS THE EXHIBITION SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

It is up to the parents to judge whether the exhibition is suitable for their children or not. In principle, admission is possible for any age group and many parents visit BODY WORLDS with their family. Just as many school classes visit the exhibition. Preparation for the exhibition is as important as awareness that human specimens are on display.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR FILM IN THE EXHIBITION?

Yes, but without the use of a flash or tripod and only for personal use. Exception: due to the large number of school groups ONLY teachers and helpers are permitted to take photos or film.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE INCLUDED IN THE FAMILY TICKET?

The family ticket is valid for max. 4 persons: max. 2 adults plus children up to age 18 or 1 adult and 3 children up to age 18. A supplementary ticket is required for each additional child. The supplementary ticket is only valid in conjunction with a family ticket.

IS THERE AN EXHIBITION SHOP?

Yes. There is a shop with a selection of articles.

ARE THERE PLENTY OF SEATS IN THE MUSEUM?

There are some seats available throughout the exhibition.

ARE PETS ALLOWED INTO THE EXHIBITION?

No. (Except Assistance dogs )

Can the stroller be taken?

Strollers are allowed in the exhibition, space permitting. On days with high visitor traffic, strollers may have to be deposited in the foyer area.

  • Gas spray cans, coloring, corrosive or otherwise harmful substances
  • Food of any kind
  • Drugs
  • Liquids in glass, cans and other containers
  • Professional photo cameras, video cameras and recording devices of any format, selfie stick
  • Laptops, tablets, computers
  • Weapons of any kind, objects that can be used as weapons or projectiles, laser pointers
  • Backpacks and bags larger than A4
  • Sports equipment such as roller skates or kickboards
  • Fireworks, sparklers, smoke petards, other pyrotechnic and Bengal parts including launchers
  • Objects, clothing and/or media with racist, xenophobic, violence glorifying or discriminatory imprint or content
